"Wah wuh-wah wah wah."
That's what I hear every time someone asks questions or makes statements that, either through malice or ignorance, can chip away at my resolve.
"How can you stand going to the gym so often?" "Exercise is so boring." "Don't you get tired of eating the same stuff over and over?" "Protein smoothies are so gross!" "I could never do that!"
I've heard tons of them and you know what? It just doesn't matter because my response (though it may come in the form of a shrug, sheepish grin, or something a little more vocal) is always,
"It isn't the effort, it's the result that is my focus."

Great reply Steve.
Some people are just plain lazy and others are a little malicious. It's sad but there are people out there that will make comments like that because they are a bit put off by your resolve. There are so many goals that get abandoned and some people just feel like they have to help other people give up to feel better about their own shortcomings, even if their failure had nothing to do with what you are striving for.
Keep pushing forward, don't ever let them get to you. To some people writing is a silly thing, but to me it's very important. Every now and again I get comments that really hurt but I just put my head against the wind and push harder.
Keep up the good work, you will get to where you are going...Don't listen to the negative, let it pass you by...
Just found your blog through entrecard and wanted to say how inpsiring you are. I really like your attitude and look forward to following your progress.
There are some people who just love to bring your self-confidence down, and they can get less motivated.
ANyway...that's a very cute picture!
